I loaded the previously stripped TulAmmo rounds into a couple new clips that helped them slide in and out nearly the same as the brass cases. That Russian steel case is covered with something like a lacquer, and that coating with new newness of the clips seemed to cause the binding. Eventually, the clips loosened up enough that the TulAmmo would strip off easily enough, With a few loadings and strippings, they loosened up quite a bit, and the rounds moved smoothly into one of my sensibly-priced metal magazines I purchased from PSA (Palmetto Sta te Arms). Moving the rounds and twisting them in the clips while loading loosened things up a bit. Since these clips are new (and possibly compounded by age and storage conditions), they seem to be somewhat sticky. I tried new American Eagle 5.56 ammo, and the result was smoother movement in the clips and easy loading into the magazine. Trying to load the magazine, I bent the first strip badly and second also though not as badly. The items were as described, and they appear to be unused 1974 surplus judging by the NOV 74 on the bandoleer. Arrived well packaged, as described, and they appear to be unused 1974 surplus.
